John, our ISA-Certified Arborist, will come out to meet you and take a look at your trees. Whether you need a hazardous branch safely removed or you want to nourish your landscape with our Heart and Soil services, he takes the time to listen to what you want to achieve and gives your property a thorough check from roots to canopy.

Why is “spikeless climbing” so important for my palms?
Unlike hardwood trees, palm trees cannot heal or close up wounds. Traditional climbing spikes puncture the trunk, leaving permanent holes that invite fungal rot, diseases, and pests. We strictly use spikeless climbing techniques to keep your palms healthy, strong, and beautiful.
How often should I have my coconuts harvested?
We generally recommend harvesting coconuts 3 to 4 times a year, depending on the specific palm species and its location. Staying on a regular maintenance schedule ensures heavy coconuts and dead fronds are safely removed before they become dropping hazards over roofs, cars, or walkways.
What happens to the wood and green waste after you cut it?
We are big believers in regenerative resourcefulness! Instead of hauling everything to the landfill, we repurpose salvaged wood, trunks, and fronds whenever possible. We turn them into nutrient-rich mulch and woodchips, or save them for creative landscaping and local art. We also offer local mulch delivery for your own garden!
Do you help design and plant new fruit orchards?
Yes! Our Heart & Soil division specializes in custom orchard installations. From selecting the right island-acclimated fruit trees from our local nursery to managing soil biology and advanced grafting, we provide everything you need to grow your own food and build resource sovereignty on your property.
Are you insured and certified?
Absolutely. We are insured to fully protect your Maui estate. Owner John Craven is also an ISA Certified Arborist, meaning all of our work is guided by the highest professional and safety standards in the industry.
